Then apply for the NIAAA Quality Program Assessment (QPA)!

Through 10 assessment categories, high school athletic administrators can assess the current status of their athletic program and be recognized as an outstanding athletic program.

Applicant requirements

The athletic administrator must:

Be a member in good standing with the NIAAA and state athletic administrator association
Have obtained CAA designation
Have completed LTC 799
Submit QPA application (including all required signatures per application specifications) to the NIAAA office. Upon receipt and approval of application, the NIAAA will invoice the applicant school.

To receive the QPA, applicants must:

Prepare and enter all evidence-based documentation into the NIAAA Awards platform. Guidance will be provided by the QPA Mentor and QPA Coordinator.
Must complete the QPA 18 months from the beginning of the QPA Cohort. If you do not complete, you will have to re-register, -apply, and -submit payment for future involvement
Prepare evidence-based documentation for each of the 10 categories that includes verification of meeting the QPA standards
Earn at least 80% of available points in each of the 10 categories

Guidance from the QPA Coordinator
All evidence-based documentation entered electronically into the QPA platform
Examples of required documentation are included in each of the categories on the platform
Guidance document—frequently asked questions
